We provide Social and Domestic Support and Garden and Property Maintenance for
the Elderly Living at Home
We do not provide “Regulated Activities” such as personal care (washing, dressing,
toileting) or nursing care.
PART 2 Aims and Objectives
Our Core Aim
To enable elderly and vulnerable adults in East Riding and North Yorkshire to live independently, safely, and happily in their own homes for as long as possible. We achieve this by
bridging the gap between social care and property maintenance. Vita Domi literally means
‘Live a Good Life, At Home’.
Our Objectives
a. To combat isolation: By providing regular, reliable companionship and “check-in” visits
that focus on the client’s emotional well-being.
b. To ensure a safe environment: By uniquely combining care with gardening and handyman services, ensuring the client’s home environment is free from trip hazards and is
well-maintained.
c. To support independence: By assisting with “life admin,” domestic chores, and shopping, removing the stressors that often force people into residential care prematurely.
d. To provide peace of mind: Acting as a reliable set of “eyes and ears” for the client’s
distant family members.
PART 3 Locations and Services
Location of Service Delivery…
We deliver services into the private homes of clients residing in:
East Riding of Yorkshire
North Yorkshire
[Specific towns of Pocklington, East of York, Market Weighton, Howden, Rural Villages,
West Driffield]
Description of Services Provided
Social Companionship: Sitting services, conversation, accompaniment to appointments.
Domestic Support: Light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, laundry, pet
support.
Medication Support: Prompting and reminders only (packaging must be present and
reminders only for medication dispensed by a pharmacist or listed by family). No
administration of medicine.
Property Maintenance: Gardening (mowing, weeding, clearance) and light handyman
tasks to ensure home safety.
